Thai Yoga Massage
Sometimes referred to as “lazy man’s yoga” this ancient healing practice combines acupressure, compressions, massage techniques & passive yoga stretching. Thai Massage provides a unique experience that harmoniously blends relaxation, energy balance, and therapeutic techniques.
Unlike massage on the table, this practice is performed on a padded mat on the floor with the client completely clothed. Little to no oils/creams are applied. Differing from the standard prone or supine positions (lying face up or face down), Thai massage also incorporates side-lying and seated positions.
The therapist moves the client’s limbs into different positions and applies pressure to Sen lines (energy lines) to remove energy blockages throughout the body.
Specific poses & compressions are designed to not only relax muscle tension & renew energy, but Thai Massage is unique in its ability to increase flexibility, range of motion, improve circulation & posture.
